Tigerwood, also know as Goncalo Alves, Brazilian Koa,and Zebrawood, has a heartwood that is a pale pinkish brown to yellowish brown and can become dark red after exposure to the sun. Tigerwood is figurative with strips of dark reddish brown to black. Tigerwood is scratch resistant and naturally resistant to rot and decay. |
