Green Building Codes for the Municipalities of San Miguel County, Colorado
Acting as leaders in the Green Building movement, the Towns of Telluride, Mountain Village, and San Miguel County recently adopted voluntary and prescriptive ordinances requiring all residential and commercial new construction, additions and remodels to comply with green building regulations. The Green Building Codes address energy efficiency, indoor air quality, materials, and resource conservation.

Built Green Colorado Checklist
Built Green Colorado represents one of oldest and largest green home building programs in the nation. The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver offers this voluntary industry-driven program to builders across the state. They encourage home builders to use technologies, products and practices that ensure a more solid house and better environment for the homeowners.
