Cradle to Cradle
Cradle-to-Cradle assesses and optimizes their products in order to maximize health, safety, effectiveness, and high quality re-utilization of the material over many product life cycles, circulated in closed loops. When a product returns to industry at the end of its useful life, its materials become equally valuable new products, minimizing waste.

CRI - Carpet Rug Institute Green Label
The Carpet and Rug Institute has the Green Label program and Green Label Plus program to test carpets, cushions and adhesives to help identify products with very low emissions of VOC's. These programs set a standard for Indoor Air Quality, ensuring that customers are purchasing the very lowest emitting products on the market.

EcoSpaces offers the following products that are certified with the Green Label by CRI: Colin Campbell Nature’s Carpet and Interface Flor.

Energy Star
ENERGY STAR qualified homes are independently verified to meet strict guidelines for energy efficiency set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. These homes save money on utility bills, provide a more comfortable living environment with better indoor air quality, and help protect the environment.

Characteristics of an Energy Star Home

An Efficient Home Envelope, with effective levels of wall, floor and attic insulation, properly installed, comprehensive air barrier details, and high-performance windows;

Efficient Air Distribution, with effectively insulated ducts and installation with minimum air leakage;

Efficient Equipment for heating, cooling, and water heating;

Efficient Lighting, including fixtures that earn the ENERGY STAR rating; and

Efficient Appliances, including ENERGY STAR qualified dishwashers, refrigerators, and clothes washers.

FSC
The Forestry Stewardship Council sets high standards that ensure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable way. Independent certification organizations are accredited by FSC to carry out assessments of forest management to determine if standards have been met. These certifiers also verify that companies claiming to sell FSC certified products have tracked their supply back to FSC certified sources. This chain of custody certification provides assurances for consumers to trust the FSC label.

EcoSpaces can source FSC material for decking, siding, flooring, paneling, and structural packages.

GreenGuard
The GreenGuard product certification program recognizes low emitting interior building materials, furnishings, and finish systems to establish acceptable indoor air standards for indoor products, environments, and buildings. All GreenGuard Certified Products have been tested for their chemical emissions performance and can be found in the GreenGuard Online Product Guide.

EcoSpaces offers the following GreenGuard certified products:   3form EcoResin panels, BonaKemi floor finish and Maharram fabric.

 

ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized environmental management system, which ensures that every environmental impact stemming from business practices has been identified and measured with the guidance of an environmental consulting firm, with initiatives put in place to reduce those impacts.

EcoSpaces offer the following ISO 14001 Certified products: Maharram Fabrics, Teragren Bamboo, and Forbo Marmoleum.

Oregon Forestry Practices Act
As a state, Oregon has a comprehensive set of rules governing forest practices and safeguarding their forest resources, including water, fish, wildlife, soil and air. OFPA focuses on reforestation, protection of water resources, protection of wildlife habitat, and limits on clear cuts.

EcoSpaces offers OFPA material for decking and siding packages.

Scientific Certification Systems
SCS offers evaluation and certification services to a broad range of manufacturing sectors. Currently certified products include office furniture systems, components, and seating, building materials, carpet and rug, hard surface flooring, paints, finishes, wood products, and cleaning products, among others.

WaterSense Partner
The EPA is creating WaterSense as a national brand for water efficiency. More than just a product label, the brand represents a symbol that represents the importance of water efficiency in the United States.  WaterSense encourages water-efficient behavior, with quality products that utilize less water.
