Daniel and Joanna Kanow started Green Social Networking in 2006. It was a natural progression on the environmental education and design path that they had set down upon together. After being classroom teachers for several years in Northern California and Telluride, CO they started remodeling properties in Telluride. Naturally, they were committed to choosing building materials that would be sustainable, non-toxic, renewable, and utilized recycled content.  They found the properties that they remolded using green building materials turned out to be very desirable, high end, and lucrative real estate investments.

Plus, local architects, contractors and homebuilders were constantly inquiring where they could purchase green building materials themselves. So in 2007, the Kanows opened the EcoSpaces Showroom in the Society Turn Business center in Telluride, Colorado. Currently, Green Social Networking, Green Building Solutions carries many green building products and distributes materials for over multiple manufacturers across the United States to their community. EcoSpaces now offers the “green alternative” to almost every conventional building material needed for every phase of design and construction.
