


Bio-Glass Countertops are made from 100% recycled glass, and is fully recyclable. The slabs resemble translucent sea glass, with a natural satin finish and a slight texture. Bio-Glass is
non-tempered glass, allowing for custom fabrication.
Slabs may be used for Counter-and worktops, accent walls and flooring.The natural finish is satin with a slight texture. Light colors allow light to shine through.This product is not tempered.

Section II – Hazardous Ingredients
Bio-Glass does not contain hazardous ingredients
Section III – Physical & Chemical Characteristics
Glass is made of almost 100% crystalline silica in the form of quartz containing 70-72% weight % silicon dioxide.
Bio-Glass consists of 100% recycled glass. Bio-Glass colors depend on recycled components (hollow glass, tableware, and/or factory shards).

Bio-Glass materials are stable.
Section V – Health Hazard Data
Sanding, sawing or grinding may result in the release of dust particles which may cause irritation of the eye or nose or, with excessive long term exposure cause lung disease.
Symptoms:
Skin: Dryness, and/or irritation
Inhale: Shortness of Breath or Irritation of Nose
Eyes: Irritation
First Aid:
Skin – wash with soap and water
Inhale – remove to fresh air
Eyes – rinse with fresh water

Bio-Glass materials are non-reactive.

Section VIII – Control Measures
Wear NIOSH approved HEPA respirators and safety glasses when sanding, sawing or grinding the material. Ventilation is required in confined areas where large amounts of dust will accumulate
Dust Control Equipment recommended.
